The Heartland Martial Arts League was founded in 1996 by Masters Mike and Vicki Neiman in cooperation with martial artists from across the Midlands.
 
The purpose of the league is to provide a competitive venue for all martial arts practitioners in the Midwest regardless of their style or affiliation.
 
The HMAL organizes and promotes fair, safe tournaments and has developed a set of competition rules that relfects this philosophy.

❖ Instructor/School Membership ($30)

▸ All benefits listed under Student, plus:
▸ Serve on HMAL Governing Body
▸ Serve on HMAL Special Committees
▸ Voting privileges at HMAL meetings
▸ Instructor’s Training Seminar (held annually)
▸ If all members, students and instructors of
   the school are members of HMAL, then
   the member school is covered by HMAL
   insurance.
