Who is the HMAL?

Masters Mike & Vicki Neiman

Owners of South Central Taekwondo of Hastings & Grand Island, NE since 1985

Certified instructors and 7th Dan Black Belts through the Universal Taekwondo Association: Grand Master Soo Kon Kim of Peoria, IL

Inducted into the U.S.A. Martial Arts Hall of Fame as TKD Masters of the Year in 2004, 2007, 2009 & 2010.

Trained over 189 students to Black Belt rank-including one Navy Seal Instructor, an Air Force Bomb Squad member and an Army Self-Defense Trainer.

Founders of the Heartland Martial Arts League and are certified HMAL Mediators.

Members of the Martial Arts Industry Assoc., the Alliance & the Qigong Institute

Mrs. Neiman teaches a combination of Tai Chi/Qigong and a Cardio Kicking class at CCC in Hastings

Continuing education in martial arts, self-defense, stress management, wellness, nutrition, Tai/ChiQigong and personal development.

In 2008, the Neiman's received their Ph.D's in Martial Arts Philosophy & Science from the University of Asian Martial Arts Studies

Mr. Neiman also holds a 6th Dan Black Belt in Hapkido from the World Hoshin-Hapkido Federation

Musado students are taught Korean style weapons which include the long, middle & short staff, cane, knife and sword

In 2010 Mr. Neiman earned a 4th Dan in Kobudo from the Alliance Kobudo Board. He is also a board member.

Offers training in Tang Soo Do and Cardio Kickboxing.

Hilary Catron

Mr. Catron is the Chairman of Rules Committee for the HMAL

Co-Directors fo the Cornhusker State Games - Taekwondo since 2006

Ms. Catron offers her experience in cardio-vascular conditioning, exercise science and nutrition

Offer a diverse background in martial arts, asian culture & history

Mr. Catron also holds a 1st Dan Black Belt in Kendo which he obtained during his stay in Japan

They offer weapons training in the Bo Staff, Sword, Short Staff & Tonfa

Have partnered with Mr. Josh Cather of Shin Koo Hapkido to expose their students to the art of Hapkido
